Agent FAQ
The following is a list of Frequently Asked Questions by real estate agents regarding the use of this site. Click on a topic below for more information.
I lost my username and/or password. How do I get a new one?
Simply click the "Forgot Login" link under the login area on the home page of the site to retrive either your username or generate a new password. Please note that the email address that you enter here MUST match the email address that is listed in your account on this web site.
Can I set my own password?
No. For security reasons all passwords are randomly generated using letters, numbers, and special characters.
If I call you can you tell me my password?
No. All passwords are encrypted in our database and cannot simply be read back. If you forgot your password you need to follow the steps in Item 1 above to generate a new password.
When I log in to my account I cannot see the Command center menu to access my listings. Where did it go?
This may happen if your subscription has expired, you renew your subscription, and you are using the Internet Explorer web browser. When your subscription expires you no longer have access to the Command Center menu. Upon renewal of your subscription Internet Explorer does not update the cache (snapshot) of the page.
To fix this problem click Tools > Delete Browsing History in your Internet Explorer menu. Make sure that the "Temporary Internet Files" box is checked. All other boxes are at your own discretion. Click the "Delete" button at the bottom of the pop up box. Now close your web browser, open it again, navigate to this site and login again. Your Command Center menu should now be visible.
When I try to upload pictures for my property listings they do not show up. Why does that happen?
Your images are too large. In order to try and make our pages load quickly we set a file size limit of 2MB for each photo. Many agents try to upload print magazine quality photos which can be upwards of 10MB in size.
To fix this problem you need to reduce the image quality and/or physical size of the photo using a graphics program like Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Fireworks, Paint Shop Pro, or other graphics program. If you do not have a graphics program there are some free online tools that can do it for you. Simply do a search for "image resizer" or "optimize images for web".
When I click on the "Database connection established - Click here to continue" link to the Command Center I get sent back to the home page.
This happens because your web browser (specifically Internet Explorer) has cached an outdated page. To resolve this issue purge your browser cache (Tools > Delete Browsing History > check Temporary Internet Files), close your web browser, then open the browser and login again.
